Bangladesh Mahila Parishad distributed blankets to the helpless

Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP, or Women's Council of Bangladesh) is a women's human rights organization that was established on April 4, 1970. In 1976, following the liberation war, Bangladesh Mahila Parishad was registered under the Society Act in free Bangladesh. 


 

 

On Tuesday, January 31, the BMP Narayanganj district committee distributed blankets to helpless poor members at the district office as part of their social activities.

 



Central Vice President and District President of BMP Freedom Fighter Laxmi Chacraborty, District Vice President and Central Training, Research, and Library Secretary Reena Ahmed, and General Secretary Advocate Hasina Parveen distributed blankets among the helpless people.
 

 


Organization Secretary Pritikana Das, Legal Aid Editor Sahanara Begum, City Social Welfare Secretary Rozi Abedin, Program Executive Sujata Afroze, and Office Assistant Sumi Sarkar were also at the distribution ceremony.
 

 

 

Blankets were distributed to the poor and needy residents of Kumu-dini Garden, Bhuierbag, Deobhog, Rishipara, Amlapara, Chasara, Galachipa, Alamin Nagar, Nandipara, and Bandar.
