# New Dhaka Journalists' Forum President Farid Hossain 

# General Secretary Moursalin Babla

Farid Hossain, the Editor of UNB, and Moursalin Babla, the Editor of Juger Chinta, have been elected the president and general secretary of the Dhaka Journalists' Forum for the ensuing two years.

On Monday (February 27, 2023), the committee was announced at the Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka. 

Additionally, Nuruddin Ahmed was elected senior vice-president, Nirmal Chakraborty vice-president, Monirul Islam joint secretary, Kawsar Rahman treasurer, Nurunnabi Robi as secretary for public welfare, Mithun Sarkar as secretary for culture and publication and Atiqul Islam as office secretary.

As the committee's executive members, Rafiqur Rahman, Mahbub Alam, Sharmin Rinvi, Md Momin Hossain, Anjan Rahman, and Golam Majtuba Dhruvo were selected. 

The Chief Election Commissioner was Chitta Francis Riberu, and the other Election Commissioners were Syed Ali Asfar and Shafiul Alam Ratan.
